We are seeking a talented and creative Web Designer to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

  • Design and develop visually appealing websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and translate them into effective web designs.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups using tools such as Balsamiq, Axure, or Figma.
  • Ensure websites are optimised for SEO and adhere to best practices for usability and accessibility.
  • Maintain website content using content management systems like WordPress or Drupal.
  • Implement responsive web design principles to ensure optimal viewing across devices.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with developers to integrate front-end designs with back-end functionality using frameworks such as Angular or React.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and technologies to enhance skills and improve design processes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in web design with a strong portfolio showcasing digital design projects.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) and other design tools (Sketch, InVision).
  • Strong understanding of front-end development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, Bootstrap, PHP, Python, Node.js, SQL, MySQL.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Knowledge of UX/UI principles and interaction design methodologies.
  • Experience with data analysis tools like Google Analytics to inform design decisions.
  • Understanding of email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
