Job Title: English Teacher (ALT)

Job description
InterctNetwork is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic English Teachers to work as Assistant Language Teachers (ALTs) in Japanese schools. You will support local English teachers in delivering engaging lessons, helping students improve their communication skills, and fostering cross‑cultural understanding.
Working conditions
✅ Salary range: 2.4 – 3.0 million yen annually for 12‑month contracts
✅ Contract period: 1 year (renewable by mutual agreement)
✅ Work schedule: Mondays to Fridays, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (occasional special events on evenings or weekends)
✅ Enrollment in National Health or Pension schemes, Employment Insurance, and Industrial Accident Compensation Insurance
✅ 10 paid holidays per year (5 planned) + breaks during summer and winter school holidays
Requirements
✅ University graduate with at least a bachelor’s degree in any major (students graduating within 6 months may also apply)
✅ Evidence of at least 12 years of education where the language of instruction in all courses was English
✅ Professional in all aspects of behavior – team‑player, flexible, cheerful, and energetic
