We’re not‑for-profit – every penny we make or save is invested in the people who live with us, the places they live, and the people who work here. That means better care, better wages, more training, and improved facilities.

The opportunity

As part of an exciting period of growth, we’re evolving our Technology function and creating new opportunities across the team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join Anchor as a Technical Projects Lead, playing a key role in delivering technology change that supports our colleagues, residents, and wider business.

This is not a traditional project management role. We’re looking for someone with strong technical understanding who can coordinate and lead the delivery of infrastructure and technology projects, ensuring solutions are delivered reliably, securely, and with minimal disruption to our services.

Working closely with engineers, architects, suppliers, and business stakeholders, you’ll help shape technical solutions, remove delivery blockers, and ensure projects are successfully implemented from planning through to transition into service.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead the delivery of infrastructure and technology projects across cloud, networks, platforms, and end‑user services.

  • Coordinate technical teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.

  • Translate business requirements into clear technical workstreams and delivery plans.

  • Manage risks, dependencies, and governance throughout the delivery lifecycle.

  • Support solution design, testing, implementation, and service transition activities.

  • Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes, standards, and ways of working.

What you’ll bring

Essential

  • Experience delivering complex technology or infrastructure projects.

  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud, networking, security, and end‑user technologies.

  • Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary technical teams and maintain delivery momentum.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Experience working within Agile, hybrid, or iterative delivery environments.

  • A practical, delivery‑focused approach with the ability to solve problems and remove blockers.

Desirable

  • Experience working in housing, care, public sector, or other regulated environments.
