Your Mission: The Role Overview
As a Cashier, you will be the central point for all daily financial transactions within the Dubai office. Your precision and integrity will ensure the smooth operation of our financial processes, directly contributing to the company’s efficiency and reputation. You will be responsible for managing payments, maintaining impeccable records, and providing exceptional service to clients, thereby supporting the seamless financial operations that allow our packing and moving services to excel.
Key Responsibilities: A Day in the Life
Your day will be dynamic and varied, with core duties including:

Transaction Management: Process a variety of payment methods—including cash, credit/debit cards, and electronic transfers—securely, efficiently, and with utmost accuracy. You will issue detailed receipts, handle refunds in accordance with company policy, and provide correct change to clients.

Financial Reconciliation: Conduct end-of-day balancing of the cash drawer, ensuring that all transactions are accounted for and any discrepancies are identified and reported immediately. This meticulous approach is critical for our financial integrity.

Record Keeping & Reporting: Maintain precise and up-to-date records of all financial transactions. You will be tasked with preparing daily summary reports for the accounts department, providing a clear audit trail.

Banking Support: Assist in the preparation of daily or weekly bank deposits, ensuring all funds are ready for transfer in a timely and organized manner. You will also support the broader team in monthly account reconciliation activities.

Client Service Excellence: Serve as a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable point of contact for all client payment inquiries. Your ability to clearly explain charges, processes, and policies will enhance the overall customer experience and build trust.

Policy & Compliance Adherence: Strictly follow all company financial policies, procedures, and internal controls. Your vigilance will be key to ensuring compliance and safeguarding company assets.
What We Are Looking For: The Ideal Candidate
Qualifications & Experience:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A diploma or certification in accounting, finance, or a related field will be considered a significant advantage.

Prior experience as a cashier, teller, or in a similar financial clerical role is highly preferred. Experience within a logistics, retail, or service-oriented environment is a plus.

Proficiency in using MS Office applications (particularly Excel for spreadsheets) and familiarity with basic accounting software or point-of-sale (POS) systems.
