IFMOSA Work Security Update – Phishing Attack Attempt Blocked

Update: Today, we faced an attempted cyberattack on the IFMOSA Work platform.

A malicious user tried to upload cryptocurrency-related spam into our system using the CV upload form. The attack was designed to impersonate normal users and upload blockchain transactions instead of resumes — possibly to scam others or test vulnerabilities. We blocked this activity immediately, and no user data was compromised.

🔐 What We’ve Done About It

✅ Tightened our form security and filters
✅ Added back-end detection for non-human submissions
✅ Logged and reported the incident to our hosting and cybersecurity team
✅ Banned the IP addresses involved
✅ Strengthened how CVs are stored and reviewed

👥 What This Means for You

Your data is safe.
Our system is now more secure than ever.
IFMOSA Work will always protect your journey.

If you got a message saying you uploaded a CV recently and received a suspicious confirmation email, ignore it — it was a result of spam spoofing. We’ve stopped it completely.

📣 Why We’re Sharing This

Because we are not just another agency.

We’re a movement of real people helping people across the globe get honest jobs abroad — not scammers, not fakes, not middlemen. We believe in transparency, even when things go wrong.
