Role: Electrician

Duties:

Maintenance & Repairs:

• Respond promptly to guest repair requests (e.g., plumbing, electrical, HVAC).

• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, and mechanical systems.

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair:

  • Plumbing (unclog drains, plunge toilets, repair leaks).

  • Electrical systems (replace bulbs, switches, outlets, and wiring).

  • HVAC (replace filters, adjust thermostats, basic repairs).

  • Appliances (TVs, internet devices, vacuum cleaners).

• Conduct painting, drywall repairs, and carpentry work as needed.

• Maintain landscaping and sprinkler systems.

Safety & Compliance:

• Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures before maintenance work.

• Adhere to all safety, OSHA, and company policies.

• Report hazards, accidents, or equipment failures immediately.

• Properly store flammable materials and tools.

Inventory & Communication:

• Maintain maintenance inventory and order supplies as needed.

• Log daily activities and report issues to the next shift.

• Update work orders and maintenance records digitally.

Guest Service & Teamwork:

• Interact professionally with guests to resolve issues.

• Assist guests with disabilities and ensure accessibility.

• Support team members and collaborate on projects.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs unassisted (heavier loads with assistance).

• Climb ladders, stairs, and service ramps.

• Bend, twist, stoop, and reach overhead frequently.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.

• Valid Driver’s License.

• Basic knowledge of:

  • Plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.

  • Safety protocols and preventive maintenance.

• Ability to use computers for work orders and inventory.

Preferred:

• 1+ years of hotel/resort maintenance experience.

• Experience with paint and surface preparation.
