Summary We are seeking a dedicated Long Haul Driver to join our team in Surrey. In this role, you will play a crucial part in transporting goods across long distances, contributing to our mission of providing exceptional service to our clients. Your expertise will help us maintain our reputation for reliability and efficiency.
Responsibilities as a long haul driver

Operate tractor-trailer vehicles over long distances to transport freight.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to safety regulations.
- Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding routes and schedules.
- Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling of materials.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
- Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a truck driver, particularly in long-haul driving.
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards in the trucking industry.
- Ability to operate various types of trailers (e.g., flatbed, refrigerated).
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with dispatchers and clients.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
