The Role Butcher

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cut, trim, and portion beef, lamb, chicken, and goat to halal standards.
• Ensure correct handling, storage, and display of all meat products.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with selections, special orders, and cooking advice.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment in line with food safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

About You:

• Previous experience as a butcher (halal experience highly regarded, but training provided for the right candidate).
• Strong knife and portioning skills with attention to detail.
• Understanding of halal requirements in meat preparation.
• Customer-focused with good communication skills.
• Reliable, hardworking, and a team player.

Pay: $78,014.40 – $91,953.14 per year
