The role
As an ICU Registrar, you will play a key role in the delivery of high‑quality critical care services within a busy Intensive Care Unit. You will work collaboratively with Consultants, junior medical staff, and allied health professionals to manage a diverse and complex caseload.
Key responsibilities include:
Assessment and management of critically ill patients
Participation in ward rounds, multidisciplinary meetings, and clinical handovers
Performing ICU procedures under supervision
Contributing to teaching, audit, and quality improvement initiatives
Participation in an on‑call roster

Eligibility criteria
To be considered, applicants should meet the following:
Medical degree recognised by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Eligibility for general registration with AHPRA
Minimum 4 years postgraduate experience, including critical care exposure
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to high standards of patient care
